December 2 is a BIG night on 5th Avenue S (read about the "Christmas on Fifth" celebration here) so you may wish to make our happy hour your first stop of the night. The lighting of the 20 foot Christmas tree (just steps away from where we will be) will occur at 6:00 pm in Sugden Plaza. There will be music along the street as well as displays of modern and vintage Porsches. One very unique feature of this event is the al fresco dining down the middle of Fifth. You may want to make dinner reservations at one the participating restaurants. You can find the restaurant list at: https://www.fifthavenuesouth.com/christmas/ (On that page scroll down the page to find the list. L'Olvio is one of them!)
Our happy hour location will be L’Olivo Ristorante, in the heart of Fifth Ave S. With their excellent food, drinks, hospitality and service, they have quickly won the hearts of Wine Tasters of Naples members. With an early happy hour, we'll have a terrific location to start a fun Friday evening!
You must register online in advance, and if requested, show your confirmation QR code when you arrive, either printed or on your phone. You will receive a ticket when you check in at the event to be exchanged for a delicious mini pizza.
Happy Hour drink prices are $5 house wine, $5 house mixed drinks, martinis $8. Premium drinks are available at regular prices. The ticket price does not include gratuity, so we remind everyone to generously tip our servers. They always wow us, let's be sure to wow them back!
5th Avenue S will be blocked off beginning earlier in the day to set up for dining in the street. You may be able to find parking in the parking garage (although it will fill early), or on a side street, so be prepared to walk.
Make a special note of time arrival: This happy hour will start at 4:30 pm and will conclude at 6:00 pm.
L'Olivo is offering a 10% discount to Wine Tasters who stay for dinner. Word to the wise though: make reservations NOW. To get the 10% discount call the restaurant at 239 302-6446 and ask for Haide. Be sure to mention Wine Tasters of Naples.
