Our Saturday morning service projects for Habitat for Humanity home building are a perfect opportunity to support those with housing needs in our community. On our most recent Saturday, the work our volunteers completed totaled THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS of value!
All skill levels - from willing learner (no experience) to professional builder - are welcome. Instruction is provided, and volunteers are never required to do any work they are uncomfortable doing. You're sure to come away with some new useful skills as well.
Just bring a willingness to put in a good morning's work and come away knowing that you have truly helped Habitat provide families a decent place to live in our community. Even when we don't have a great deal of money to donate to our community's needs we can give our time.

So, where does this leave the low-wage earners in our community?
Affordability has been a challenge in our area for decades. Now, with rental and purchase prices reaching record levels and no real increases in wages, not to mention Hurricane Ian, the difficult search for an affordable place to live is impacting more people than ever.
Once again, those already struggling to make ends meet are the ones who are hit hardest. This is one way Wine Tasters of Naples is living our mission to help others in our community.
